Kyorin University Suginami Hospital established

The Kyorin University Suginami Hospital was opened in the Suginami Ward of Tokyo on April 1, 2024, and represents the first clinical center established outside of the main university campus in Mitaka City located roughly 10 kilometers away. As a full-scale general hospital with 29 clinical departments, the Kyorin University Suginami Hospital also boasts a new Center for Preventive Medicine specializing in high-quality medical screening and disease prevention. Furthermore, the hospital is a Tokyo Metropolitan Government-designated secondary emergency medical institution, providing important 24-hour, 365-day emergency care for adults and children in the community. Physicians at the Kyorin University Suginami Hospital are faculty members of the Kyorin University School of Medicine, and are involved in student education as well as resident postgraduate training programs.
